Interviews

We are happy to offer you an evaluative interview during an Open House or Campus Visit.

Tips and Reminders

• An interview is required and your application is not complete without it.  
• In-person interviews are available at our Durham campus as part of our Campus Visit program and our Open Houses. 
• If you are unable to meet with us in person, you may schedule a telephone interview. 
• Use our online scheduling system to register. 
  • The system is not connected to the online application, so you will need to create a unique account for each. 
  • Schedule your interview at your earliest convenience as interview slots may fill quickly. 
  • If scheduling an interview in conjunction with a Campus Visit, select an interview time that will allow you to fully participate in the other campus visit activities. 
  • The online scheduling system will not allow last minute registrations. If you are unable to schedule through the online system, please contact us at campusvisit@fuqua.duke.edu or +1.919.660.7705, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. 
• All interviews are conducted by an admissions officer or a select second-year MBA student. Interviews are conducted in English and typically last 30 - 45 minutes.

Campus Visits

Experience a day in the life of an MMS student! Campus Visits occur throughout the academic year on Monday and Friday. To help you fully experience the MMS curriculum, culture, and community, we offer a variety of activities that you can choose to attend including:

• Admissions interview
• Tour and lunch with current students  
• Class observation 
• Student panel 
• "Meet and Greet" with an admissions officer 
• Distinguished Speaker Series lectures

Register online for a Campus Visit. The system is not connected to the online application, so you will need to create a unique account for each.

Open Houses

Open Houses are events that provide you and your family (including your parents, spouse/partner) with an opportunity to meet members of our admissions committee, administration, and current MMS students, within a group setting. You will have the opportunity to engage with the Fuqua community and gain a greater perspective on the MMS program. You can also conduct your admissions interview during an Open House visit. Below is a listing of upcoming Open Houses:

• October 24, 2009
• January 23, 2010 
• April 17, 2010

Inclement Weather

For Durham Visitors Only: Duke University policy dictates that only essential services report to work during any severe weather or emergency condition. Should the university activate the severe weather policy, it is likely that Fuqua's admissions office will be closed or delayed in opening.
If you are scheduled for a visit in Durham, call +1.919.660.7739 and a recorded message will update you on the status of our operating conditions.
If you cannot make it to campus because of inclement weather, please call +1.919.660.7739 and leave your name, contact information, and your affected campus visit and interview schedule. We will contact you and reschedule your interview or visit at a time that is convenient for you.

Cancellations

If you must cancel or reschedule your visit or interview, please use our online scheduling system. Changes cannot be made less than 2 days in advance of your visit. If you have last minute changes, please contact us as soon as possible at +1.919.660.7705 or campusvisit@fuqua.duke.edu.
