Graduation Requirements

Daytime MBA Graduation


  1. Successful completion of (or exemption from) all core courses.
  2. Completion of at least 79 credits or 65 credits for joint degree students. (Note: Summer Curricular Practical Training participants do not count the 1 CPT credit towards graduation; therefore, they will earn a total of 80 credits.)
  3. A GPA of at least a 3.0.

Total credits earned can be found on the ACES website.

79 required credits consist of: 

  • CL1 & 2 — 3 credits 
  • Management Communication core — 4 credits 
  • Business Computer Applications — 2 credits 
  • Core Courses (or electives if core is exempted) — 26 credits 
  • Electives — 44 credits

65 required credits for joint degree students consist of:

  • CL1 — 1 credit 
  • Management Communication core — 4 credits 
  • Business Computer Applications — 2 credits 
  • Core Courses (or electives if core is exempted) — 26 credits 
  • Electives — 32 credits
