Beginning February 2015 the R. David Thomas Center at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business will undergo extensive renovations. Originally constructed in 1989, the Center primarily serves as living quarters for Fuqua’s executive students during their Durham-based residencies.
The updated Center will provide a world-class experience for guests while meeting the increased energy efficiency goal of LEED certification. The renovated Center will feature 200 modern guest rooms and additional meeting space including a 5,600-square-foot ballroom. The Center will expand by more than 90,000 square feet.
Completion of the new center is scheduled for summer of 2016.
