What do you do professionally?
I run a handbag startup that I founded during my time at Duke (ANDI) and I also sell eDiscovery services.
What is the most enjoyable part of your job?
Getting to meet and interact with new and awesome people every day.
What is the biggest challenge you face?
Managing people (I would rather be a friend than a boss…).
What sorts of interesting places has your position taken you? Do you have a favorite?
All over the United States, Asia, Australia–but my favorite is right here in NYC.
What is the best professional advice you’ve received?
Make sure your movement is forward and not just side to side.
Aside from your current role, what is your dream job?
I would like to allocate more of my time and energy to the social and environmental missions and opportunities with ANDI.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Explore, adventure and attend barbeques.
What is the most important thing you learned during your time at Fuqua?
To travel and network globally and fearlessly.
Who was your favorite professor?
Pat Thornton and Leslie Marx.
What is your favorite Fuqua memory?
Watching the Saints win the Superbowl in the domestic terminal of the Kathmandu airport (with very spotty streaming) before heading up in a small plane to see Mt. Everest (after our India residency with some of my CCMBA colleagues).
