Jackie is a member of the Daytime MBA Class of 1990 and will be celebrating her 25-year reunion at Fuqua Reunions 2015 this spring. She also serves on Fuqua's Minority Alumni Advisory Board.

What do you do professionally?

Senior Client Relations Manager for Xerox.

What is the most enjoyable part of your job?

Helping clients resolve issues and achieve their goals thereby assisting Xerox to achieve their goals.

What is the biggest challenge you face?

Time.

What sorts of interesting places has your position taken you? Do you have a favorite?

My client is a U.S.-based company, therefore my travel is domestic. I have grown to love Atlanta.

What is the best professional advice you've received?

Understand the difference between a sponsor and a mentor.

Aside from your current role, what is your dream job?

Expand my skillset to benefit the Native American business community.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Travel and be with my family.

What is the most important thing you learned during your time at Fuqua?

I learned I did not have to be a specialist in a particular role or industry. My education and skillset prepared me for a variety of increasing responsibilities that are transferable across multiple industries.

Who was your favorite professor?

Marketing professor Debu Purohit.

What is your favorite Fuqua memory?

Graduation—It marked a time of a new beginning.

What does Team Fuqua mean to you?

It means lifelong friendships, both old and new.
