We asked the alumni celebrating a birthday today (June 19), "Where are you now?" Here's what they said:
Julie Anderson MBA '07
I'm getting married to Tony Gomez on June 21, 2014, in Southwest Harbor, Maine. After serving as the Acting Assistant Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Planning at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the Obama Administration, I will be starting a new position as the Chief Business Development Officer of Ezra Company in July.
Felix Chang MBA '98
I'm still in the Washington, DC area, after returning to government service at the Defense Department. I now split my time between two endeavors. I work with DecisionQ, a predictive analytics company, to commercialize its health care products and lead its joint venture with a leading advertising agency. Plus, I'm a senior fellow at a Philadelphia-based think tank, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, where I write on military and energy issues across Eurasia (ever popular these days). Sometimes it feels like when I'm not working, I'm working on something else. But, hey, it's been entertaining.
