We asked the alumni celebrating a birthday today (April 16), "Where are you now?" Here's what they said:
Caroline Burgland Cormier MBA '04
I'm currently staying at home to raise our three boys, Henry, Jack and William. With three kids under the age of five, I'm quickly learning to embrace chaos as the new normal, but having a ball in the process!
Phillip Crowder MBA '94
Right now I would say I am in a "great" place! Professionally, I am Director of Sustainability Services at Sealed Air Corporation. My role allows me to help define sustainability overall for the company and demonstrate economic and social value of our solutions. Personally, I am father to two great children (John and Grace), who excel in spite of me, and husband to the woman who is still helping me learn and always making me smile.
Ross D'Eredita MBA '13
I am currently living in Dallas, working for Accenture on a local telco project with fellow Class of '13 alumni Steph Gorski and Will Gardner. My wife, Rachel, and I recently welcomed our second child—Ava Terese—on March 16, just in time to see Coach K and Duke win a 5th NCAA title!
Astha Dutta MBA '09
Employed with PwC US as a Director—relocated from Chicago to India in 2012. Focused on consumer, industrial products, and technology sectors. Helping clients entering new markets and products, assessing competition, acquiring new targets.

I am the VP of Client Sales at Abila. Abila provides SaaS products for the nonprofit and association market. We are a private equity-backed firm. These markets are rapidly changing by embracing new technology to fundraise, advocate and streamline their business processes. The market is huge and the opportunity to bring technology to drive better results is an exciting place to be.
I live in Austin, and have for 15 years with my wife, Leigh.
Fernando Vargas MBA '11
After two years living in Korea after my MBA, I am now back in Brazil. Currently I am working in São Paulo for an online travel agency called Decolar.com. Although I miss the friends I made throughout the world it's good to be back home with my family and old friends.
Nannan Zhong MBA '14
I am still in the RTP area, working for Lenovo. A little bit before graduation, I took a new role within my company, Chief Accountant of Motorola Mobility, along with the acquisition of Motorola Mobility by Lenovo. My key responsibility is to ensure the accounting post-acquisition transition work goes smoothly, and drive the process transformation in order to achieve accounting practice consistency with Lenovo Group.
