Currently in Tampa, Florida as the Senior Vice President/Market Leader for BayCare Health System. I lead the largest market in our 14-hospital system and I am currently president of both the women's and children's hospitals in addition to oversite responsibility for four additional hospitals and a skilled nursing facility. Proud wife (25 years this year to Allen) and mom of two college students, Devin (18) and Danielle (21). Still crazy about Duke basketball and hoping for another run!
Philip Katen MBA '05
My wife, Christina, and I live in Erie, PA, and we recently welcomed a healthy baby boy, Jude Philip Katen, to our family on January 21! After wrapping up my consulting career with Deloitte in early 2007, I returned home to Erie to serve in a leadership role in our family businesses - Micro Mold & Plastikos, which are industry leaders in the custom, tight-tolerance/high-precision niche of the electronics and medical device segments within the larger plastics industry. PlasticsNews has recognized Plastikos & Micro Mold as the North American "Processor of the Year" as well as the #1 & #2 "Best Places to Work" in the U.S. plastics industry, which are a few highlights among the other national and regional awards that our companies have earned throughout our collective history. And we recently completed a major medical cleanroom expansion (ISO 7/Class 10,000 cleanroom) and capital investment at Plastikos, which will enable our companies to continue to realize excellent future growth opportunities within the medical segment of our customer portfolio.
