UPCOMING EVENTS

INCLUSION
WEEK: Daring Dialogues on Affinity Groups
Monday, October 12th at 6pm ET
Virtually Hosted on Zoom
We kick off Fuqua’s Fall Inclusion Week with a discussion on affinity groups. Many of you have heard of, joined, or led an affinity group within the workplace and even here at Fuqua. An affinity group is a group formed around a shared interest or common goal,
to which individuals formally or informally belong. An affinity group is a designated “safe space,” where everyone in that group shares a particular identity. This identity can be based on race, gender, sexual orientation, language, nationality, physical/mental
ability, socio-economic class, family structure, religion, etc. What are the affinity groups here at Fuqua? Why do they exist? How do they support inclusion? Join us and your Fuqua peers from a variety of affinity groups to discuss how joining an affinity
group has impacted their experience here and beyond.

INCLUSION
WEEK: Racial Justice and the International Experience
Wednesday, October 14th at 6pm ET
Virtually Hosted on Zoom
We wrap up Fall Inclusion Week with an MBAA International collaboration. The past few months have been quite an experience for our international peers with immigration and VISA changes, the political and racial unrest, and travel restrictions. Navigating all
of this and finding a voice has been challenging for us all and our international peers in particular. Join us as we tackle the complex topic of Racial Justice, the effects on current-day America, and what that experience feels like from the international
perspective given the added layers of the travel/immigration changes. We will also explore what finding your voice means especially here at Fuqua and what it ultimately means to stand in solidarity with one another.
