Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and iR&Dclub invite you to a presentation and discussion in Moscow led by Professor Sharon Belenzon, "Corporate Research and Markets for Technology."
This talk will give an historical overview of how inventive activity has been organized in the United States. A special focus would be given to the changing roles of independent inventors versus corporate labs in providing innovative inputs to large organizations, and to how the development of markets for technology has moderated the relative importance of these factors. Prof. Belenzon will explore the relationships between organizational structure, innovation and acquisitions, and discuss the implications of these relationships to firm strategy and market value.

Sharon Belenzon is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the Fuqua School of Business. His research focuses on firm organization, innovation, and performance, and has been featured in top academic journals.
