Bio
Manuel Adelino is the Carey Family Distinguished Professor of Business Administration and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He conducts research on financial intermediation, household finance, and mortgage credit. His current work focuses on the effect of competition on mortgage rates, how interest rates pass through to household payments with adjustable-rate mortgages, and how forbearance affects household consumption and savings.
He has received a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from MIT Sloan School of Management. Before MIT he worked in the Lisbon office of McKinsey as a Business Analyst.
