Internships present a great way for companies to evaluate potential permanent hires. Interns can boost company productivity and provide much needed support on special projects. In addition, when interns are pleased with their internship experience, they add to a company's campus presence and act as company emissaries.
Duke MBA summer internships
Duke MBA interns are available for 10 to 12-week assignments between their first year and second year, beginning in mid-May or early June. They can complete important projects and research, temporarily fill permanent hiring needs, provide innovative approaches to solving business problems, and establish a valuable connection between company and students.

Duke MMS summer pre-program internships & winternships
MMS students are available in early summer before their program starts in July and during their winter break from mid-December to mid-January. From marketing to finance to research to analysis, MMS students have a broad range of fundamental business skills appropriate for entry-level business projects needs.
Project opportunities vary in length from 1-7 weeks, and some projects may continue throughout the school year, depending on the student's availability. An internship gives employers the chance to see what these talented students can do while providing their organization with free or low-cost assistance on specific projects.
