Tom is currently the Managing Director at Cambridge Associates, where he advises institutional and family investors on total portfolio management and builds global portfolios designed to meet their financial and impact objectives. He is also a founding member of Cambridge's Mission-Related Investing (MRI) Group, a talented team that partners with clients to support their most collectively important priorities: communities, environment, and social compact.
Prior to that, Tom interned as an Investment Analyst for Agora Partnerships in Managua, Nicaragua for a year. There he worked towards the goal of creating locally owned and socially responsible small- and medium-sized enterprises in Nicaragua. He also identified entrepreneurs with strong potential, provided strategic consulting on idea development and implementation, structured equity investments in select enterprises, and provided post-investment support.
Tom received his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, his MRP in in Urban Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his AB from Stanford University.
