For the last term, “Super Term,” both the Weekend Executive MBA and the Global Executive MBA cohorts take elective courses together over two weeks. Since super term occurred during the pandemic, Fuqua offered the option of continuing in a virtual environment or participating in-person. I felt very safe with all the measures implemented by Duke to keep the campus community safe. It was a great opportunity to extend my network. The group was small, however, it resulted in us forming a strong bond. Fuqua also made a great effort to keep us connected with those at home by conducting different virtual activities.
I worked as an operations project manager for Showa Denko in a manufacturing plant where I led and solved a complex capacity improvement project. I enjoy the challenges of leading a large team under challenging market circumstances and improving employee performance across the organization.
I plan to continue evolving my leadership style with the skills I’ve gained at Fuqua. I am also interested in working on business challenges that will generate value for organizations and have a positive impact on society.
Leverage all of the resources that Fuqua has to offer. Ford Library has incredible resources and databases available to you. The Career Management Center has incredible professionals with deep expertise in different industries that can guide you on your career journey. Join student clubs to engage with students with similar interests and participate in the activities organized by your regional group; it will allow you to increase your local network.
