Ashley Snow
“I have learned that I am a much stronger leader than I give myself credit for and that what I have to contribute to teams is valuable. I’ve learned to jump in and be the motivational leader I know I am.”

Why I Chose Fuqua

My dad received his MHA from Fuqua in 1978. He has always inspired me, so going to Fuqua was my chance to follow in his footsteps. Additionally, I wanted to gain a complete understanding of all areas of business. Fuqua had the perfect program for me to complete a business education where I would be challenged and walk away with the necessary skills to become a successful businesswoman. Learning with the best of the best has helped me fulfill my dreams for my education, and I’m more confident than ever in my abilities to be a successful business leader.

Before Fuqua

I had several internship experiences in marketing and management, where I interacted with all other areas of the company. I learned that no matter your position, it’s important to understand the role of each department to make the best decisions – and that’s why I am pursuing this degree.

After Fuqua

My dream is to be in Boston, Massachusetts and have a career with a top marketing or advertising agency. I would love to use my business education and creative abilities to contribute to successful campaigns that grab the interest of consumers.

5 Best Courses and Why

  1. My favorite class was Fundamentals of Business Economics even though I was never a fan of Econ in undergrad. Our professor presented the topic in a unique and interesting way using real world examples.
  2. Foundations of Corporate Finance made finance relatable and interesting.
  3. The cases and presentations in Principles of Strategy give you practice in analyzing a corporate strategy.
  4. Intro to Marketing Analysis stands out because case assignments were interesting and it was a good introduction to the quantitative side of marketing.
  5. Public speaking is important in the business world, and Business Communications gave us practice in presentation skills along with giving and receiving feedback.
