Reflections

I chose to attend Fuqua for the unique design of the program curriculum, diverse cohort, the culture of collaborative teamwork, and the global network. Connecting with my fellow students and faculty has created a life-long network that has already had a profound impact on my career. Through my Fuqua connections, I was accepted into an internship program at IBM where I was able to use the skill-set I have gained at Fuqua to apply to the intersection of technology and health care.

Before Fuqua

I provide treatment to individuals with a wide range of complex medical and psychiatric problems. My clinical engagement includes collaborating with multidisciplinary health care teams, consulting with physicians about patient care, and providing mental health and health behavior change interventions to patients.

After Fuqua

I look forward to leading global initiatives, including directing and executing a vision to expand access and quality health care worldwide and finding cost-effective solutions to some of the world’s most pressing health care challenges.

5 Best Experiences

  1. Being a part of a team and working with and developing relationships with such talented team members.
  2. Interacting with the dedicated Fuqua faculty and staff.
  3. Trying all of the different BBQ restaurants in Durham in search of the best BBQ.
  4. Social outings with my classmates in Durham.
  5. Attending a Duke Basketball game.
