“My classmates weren't just friendly; they were passionate about connecting, not just on a surface or professional level, but in a way to forge life-long friendships. I have learned more from my cohort, through both trials and accomplishments, than I ever could have imagined possible.”

Reflections

I was asked by executive leadership to come up with a different perspective on how we as a firm evaluate the growth potential of our largest accounts. This exercise has been performed historically through qualitative assessments, as well as historical trend analyses; however, this task was given to me while I was taking Decision Models, so I was able to come up with an innovative approach. I used one of the core models that we learned about and developed a custom model to serve our specific purposes. The class not only helped me with this task but also changed how I think about and communicate data.

Before Fuqua

I was a Transaction Diligence Manager at EY. I led buy-side and sell-side engagements for public companies and private equity firms across industries and borders, identifying financial trends, quality of earnings adjustments, business risks, and potential synergies to better inform the organization on the contemplated transaction.

After Fuqua

During the program, I was asked to establish and lead the EY Americas Analytics Center of Excellence (U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Israel). This role has me performing market analyses, as well as developing and implementing data-driven strategies to infuse new ideas, perspectives, and

decision support to Executive Leadership.

5 Best Things About the JB Duke Hotel

  1. Berry cobbler. Hands down the best.
  2. The staff. Some of the kindest, most accommodating people!
  3. Sightings of Duke Basketball royalty on game days.
  4. The bathrobes. I’m not a robe person…then I then found the robes at the JB Duke!
  5. It’s a really nice hotel. Rooms are new, clean, and inviting.
