Reflections

The Health Sector Management program enhanced my understanding of the provider, payer, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, expanding my narrow lens beyond the clinical arena.  It also gave me a new viewpoint of the customer experience and will change my perspective moving forward. The exceptional faculty, broad experience of my classmates, and notable guest speakers delivered an outstanding and comprehensive learning experience providing the vital skills needed to excel in a health care business role. I am grateful for the connections built with classmates and my newfound understanding of business, strategy, and operations.

Before Fuqua

I worked as a nurse practitioner with the Division of General, Thoracic, and Fetal Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, caring for a diverse and complex population of pediatric surgical patients with an exceptional team of surgeons and nurse practitioners in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

After Fuqua

I intend to pursue a career in health care consulting or health care technology. My goal is to merge my clinical expertise, passion for health care, and business acumen to make a positive impact.
