Reflections

My cohort was—and is—the most amazing group of people I have ever met. They’re all incredibly intelligent, hardworking, competitive, successful, type-A people, as you would expect, but with an attitude focused not just on being the best, but enabling the best in others. Two years after graduating, we are still an incredibly close knit community, with an active class chat on WhatsApp to share successes and concerns. We reach out for contacts in various segments and industries, or advice for projects or proposals we’re working on, or to share travel plans and connect in person whenever we’re in the same city.

Before Fuqua

Over 13 years at John Deere, I worked my way up from an entry-level position to senior management. I managed the enterprise operating system and worked with manufacturing facilities globally to achieve customer, employee, and shareholder deliverables through lean and quality initiatives.

After Fuqua

I’m now a Senior Director for one of the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. I manage the UTC Aerospace Systems Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) operating system, direct compliance and regulatory adherence, and I work with sites globally to develop talent, improve results, and achieve customer expectations.
