Reflections

An incredible group of my classmates organized a workshop series, Building Anti-Racist Business (BARB), to confront racism in the structures of business and route forward how we can be anti-racist as business leaders. One of my classmates and I were inspired to create a follow-up series, Building Anti-Sexist Business, to unpack patriarchal structures creating gender inequity in business today. Our workshops built on BARB to be action-oriented and create a community of accountability to be true leaders for business and social justice.

Before Fuqua

I was the vice president of global health at Fenton, a boutique, social-impact consulting firm in Washington D.C., where I led business development and strategy for clients in the public and private sector.

After Fuqua

I joined one of my former clients, Johnson & Johnson as the global communications leader for R&D, Africa and Emerging Markets for the global public health team, a business unit specifically designed to tackle the greatest public health challenges.

My Favorite Professor

Sharon Belenzon’s course, Business Strategies for Emerging Markets, fundamentally changed how I think about strategy and its applications in some of the most important economies in the world. His passion and dedication to his students are evident in each class and in how he consistently challenges your thinking so you grow as a strategist.
