Who Should Apply
The Master of Management in Clinical Informatics program is suited for students with experience and/or interests across the health technology spectrum and who either seek to enhance their current careers, utilize past work experience to transition into the exciting health informatics field, or begin the career path of health informatics.
MMCi alumni, current students, and applicants represent diverse educational backgrounds. While two-thirds of applicants have science or technology backgrounds, others have education and/or work experience in public health, public policy, business, and economics. The MMCi program considers and welcomes students from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Student Profile
- Average work experience is 7+ years but ranges from recent undergrads to working professionals with 25+ years of experience.
- 60 percent of the class holds a masters or higher degree.
- 40 percent of the class are clinicians.
- One-fourth of the class are international students.
- Professional experiences include: clinical, IT, business development, assisted living, clinical trials, and business.
