Employers are invited to participate in Fuqua's upcoming MBA Employer Expo, which includes a 30-minute presentation, office hours, and a networking session. This combined event provides an exceptional opportunity to showcase your organization, share valuable insights with Fuqua students, and attract top-tier candidates.

  • The MBA Employer Expo will be held on Wednesday, Oct 2nd, 1:00 pm – 6:30 pm, at the Fuqua School of Business. 
  • This event is exclusively for Fuqua MBA students. 
  • Synchronous presentations will run from 1:00 pm – 5:15 pm, followed by a networking session from 5:30-6:30 pm.
  • Employers may host simultaneous office hours during the Employer Expo, alongside scheduled presentations. 
  • Each organization receives a high-top table with a sign for the networking session.  
  • Employers can take part at no expense.
  • Requests are to be submitted directly through Fuqua’s CareerBridge.
  • Based on student feedback, the most successful presentations are those that clearly articulate the available roles, hiring timeline, the process to apply for roles, preferred candidate profile, team culture, and alignment to Team Fuqua.
  • Showcase Fuqua alumni as a presenter and/or moderator. Be open and genuine about any memorable events/struggles and/or personal stories while serving in roles within the company.
  • Close with “Next Steps”. Share any upcoming networking events or diversity programs.
  • Recording your event is recommended. Following the event, it can be shared with Clubs for distribution.
  • Recommended Event Structure:
    • 5 Min: Introductions
    • 20 Min: Formal Presentation
      - Focus on information not easily found online.
      - Walk through case study/teach something.
      - Be interactive, but don’t put students on the spot.
    • 5 Min: Q&A
  • For the networking session, we suggest having 2-3 representatives from your organization attend. Ensure your recruiting team and any other representatives are well-prepared to engage with attendees. They should be knowledgeable about your company, it's culture, and available opportunities.
  • To share materials about your organization, a QR code sign is recommended. Please refer to Fuqua’s Green Recruiting & Shipping Information for more information.
  • After the event, follow up with attendees who showed interest in your company and/or specific opportunities. Personalized follow-up emails can help maintain connections and move candidates through the hiring process.
