Bio
Francesco Beraldi is an Assistant Professor in the Finance area. He received his PhD in Economics from Yale University.
Francesco's research lies at the intersection of Corporate Finance, Financial Intermediation, and Macroeconomics. He studies how the structure of credit markets—such as long-term bank-firm relationships, limited commitment, and information heterogeneity—influences capital allocation and the transmission of monetary and fiscal policy. His work combines microdata with structural models to uncover how financing dynamics at the firm and household level affect aggregate outcomes.
