Associate Dean, Executive MBA Programs Professor of the Practice of Management Education The Fuqua School of Business Duke University
John joined Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 1983 as a member of the faculty and Director of Computer Mediated Learning. Although John has a research and teaching record in marketing and information systems, his career at the Fuqua School has focused on the design and delivery of innovative management education programs. In 1996 John was involved in the development of the Fuqua School’s Place & Space model of instructional delivery, leading to Duke’s Global and Cross Continent Executive MBA Programs. Early in 2000 John served as one of the founders and Vice President of Duke Corporate Education. In 2005, he returned to Duke’s Fuqua School as Associate Dean for Executive MBA Programs. In this role, he is responsible for three Executive MBA Programs: Weekend Executive, Global Executive, and Cross Continent. John has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of California.
