Xu Jiang, PhD, Associate Professor of Business Administration; BS (University of Science and Technology of China), PhD (University of Minnesota)
Professor Jiang joined Fuqua faculty after serving as an assistant professor of accounting at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. Professor Jiang’s main research area includes banking regulation, design of optimal disclosure rules, the economic consequences of accounting standards and regulation in general and strategic communication. His work has been published in various journals including Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Economic Theory, Management Science and The Accounting Review. He teaches financial accounting and is the recipient of the 2016 Master of Management Studies Excellence in Teaching Award. He reviews papers for various journals and is the recipient of the 2021 and 2023 Journal of Accounting Research Excellence in Reviewing Award and the 2024 Journal of Accounting Research Referee of the Year Award.
