Why I Chose Fuqua
I chose Fuqua for its unique blend of culture, academics, and community. The “Team Fuqua” spirit, where collaboration and support are at the core, was exactly the environment I knew I would thrive in. I knew my cohort, regardless of who they were, would push me to grow and excel in all areas of my life. Beyond culture, Fuqua’s strong academic program—especially in health care—was a perfect fit for my career goals. And, of course, the great weather doesn’t hurt! I knew almost immediately that Fuqua was the right place for me.
The classes at Fuqua have pleasantly surprised me due to the diversity of student work experiences being brought to the classroom. In almost every discussion, someone can relate personally, offering unique perspectives. Professors are not just interested—they’re excited to hear students share their experiences. It’s fascinating to engage with both the academic content and the real-life insights from classmates, enriching the learning experience and making each class feel incredibly relevant.
Before Fuqua
I worked in health care strategy consulting at The Dedham Group in NYC, specializing in oncology and specialty therapeutics. My role focused on the pricing and accessibility of drugs, driven by my passion for improving patient outcomes and bridging the gap between medical innovation and effective health care solutions. My responsibilities included assessing client needs, analyzing complex data, and developing tailored strategies to help clients navigate the evolving health care landscape.
After Fuqua
Post-graduation I will join Barclays Investment Bank's health care team. I’m excited to apply both the financial and health care knowledge I’ve gained through the program, while continuing to live by "Team Fuqua’s" values of teamwork and collaboration. I look forward to using my leadership skills to contribute to my team’s success and support those around me, while driving impactful outcomes in the health care industry.
