Giancarlo Greco has been a senior executive of financial services corporations for almost 20 years. He has worked for some of the industry leaders, such as Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Visa, and American Express. Most recently, he worked as the President of Visa in Brazil.
Some of the most important topics on his agenda for the past few years have been restructuring the AMEX business in Brazil, growing its financial results, customer base, product portfolio, and merchant network, managing the relationship with large local banks, such as Bradesco and Banco do Brasil, exploring opportunities in various segments of the payments industry, and discussing regulation dynamics with local authorities.
With an MBA from Duke University (1998) and a BS in economics from Universidade Mackenzie (1991), he has also been a professor of graduate programs in one of the top business schools in Latin America.
Giancarlo was born and raised in São Paulo and is married with a young son.
