"Since starting the program, I’ve become more aware of myself, my impact, and the community around me. I’m more agile and intentional, especially when it comes to balancing school and work. The experience has challenged me to quickly assess what matters most and focus my energy accordingly. What has transformed me most is the international travel. Though uncomfortable at times, it opened my eyes to incredible places and beautiful people. From the vibrant energy of Bangkok to the rich culture of Peru, these experiences deepened my appreciation for global diversity and pushed me to grow far beyond my comfort zone."

Why I Chose Fuqua
I have high aspirations for my career, and I knew I needed a program that would challenge me to grow—quickly and intentionally. Fuqua’s academic rigor, the global experience of its professors, and the international travel offered exactly the kind of stretch I was looking for. I wanted to push myself outside my comfort zone, and this program has done exactly that.
What truly drew me to Fuqua was the opportunity to learn alongside experienced, diverse leaders from around the world. I knew that being part of such a dynamic cohort would broaden my perspective and help me see business through multiple lenses. The global residencies have been especially transformative, giving me a deeper understanding of how different markets, cultures, and leadership styles influence business.
Fuqua is more than just a program—it’s a community. Being surrounded by people who want to see you succeed and who challenge you to become better has been one of the most valuable parts of this experience. That environment has helped shape me into a stronger, more agile leader—one who is better prepared to make a meaningful impact.

Maximizing Your Fuqua Experience
Challenge yourself to be fully engaged and immersed in the experience. When we’re pushed outside our comfort zones, it’s natural to revert to what we know—but real growth happens when we lean into that discomfort. This program will challenge how you think, work, and lead. Don’t shy away from it. Those uncomfortable moments are signs that you’re growing—and that’s exactly what this journey is about.
Fuqua is committed to developing both the current and next generation of leaders. It won’t always be easy, but if you embrace it fully, it will absolutely be worth it. Be intentional about building relationships—they will become your greatest source of support and inspiration. Ask questions, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to be vulnerable. This is your opportunity to grow not just as a professional, but as a person.
