Congratulations, graduates! We look forward to celebrating the graduation of the Fuqua Daytime Class of 2024 in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday, May 11, 2024. 

All the details for Fuqua's Graduation events can be found throughout this site, including a pre-graduation to do list for students, frequently asked questions, and instructions for participating in all the graduation weekend events for students and their guests. For more details on the Duke Commencement event on Sunday, May 12 in Wallace Wade Stadium, please visit the Duke Commencement website.

If you have guests traveling internationally for graduation and needing a visa, please visit the Duke Commencement website for details on completing the Confirmation of Status form to support visa applications.

For guests who are unable to join us for the Graduation ceremony in-person on Saturday, the event will be livestreamed via the Fuqua School of Business Youtube channel. For family members or guests who will be streaming the ceremony from China, a Zoom webinar link is available.

Commencement Speaker: Ajay Banga

Ajay Banga began his five-year term as the 14th president of the World Bank Group on June 2, 2023.

Most recently, he served as vice chairman at General Atlantic. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Mastercard, a global organization with nearly 24,000 employees. Under his leadership, Mastercard launched the Center for Inclusive Growth, which advances equitable and sustainable economic growth and financial inclusion around the world. Ajay was honorary chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce, serving as chairman from 2020-2022. He became an advisor to General Atlantic’s climate-focused fund, BeyondNetZero, at its inception in 2021. Ajay served as co-chair of the Partnership for Central America, a coalition of private organizations that works to advance economic opportunity across underserved populations in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. He has previously served on the boards of the American Red Cross, Kraft Foods, and Dow Inc.

Ajay is a co-founder of The Cyber Readiness Institute and was vice chair of the Economic Club of New York. He was awarded the Foreign Policy Association Medal in 2012, the Padma Shri Award by the president of India in 2016, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and the Business Council for International Understanding’s Global Leadership Award in 2019, and the Distinguished Friends of Singapore Public Service Star in 2021.
