I live in Medellín, Colombia. I work at a family office, which invests in diverse sectors such as commercial real estate, the agricultural sector, and energy projects. I'm married (Andrés) and I have a 6-year-old son (Emilio).

Ed Brassel ’83, MBA ‘85

I am currently living in (Center City) Philadelphia, PA with my husband, Joe Russo. We moved out here from Los Angeles six years ago. I am an EVP at ComcastNBCU where I lead several teams responsible for enterprise data utilization, advanced statistical analytics, and developing applications for artificial intelligence. We absolutely love Philadelphia and it’s great being back on the East Coast for the first time since leaving Fuqua in 1985.

Proud WEMBA '08! Just moved from Cary to behind enemy lines in Chapel Hill with my wife and two kids, who are 6 and 8 years old. They are rabid Blue Devil fans, and we just enjoyed coming to campus for a Duke playoff lacrosse game. I've been at Dell for the last two years, currently serving as VP & GM of the Fixed Computing Business Unit, comprised of the OptiPlex and Wyse product lines.

I graduated May 2018. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year post grad, and I couldn't be happier to have picked Austin as my first place to live and Grant Thornton as my first firm to work for. When I'm not enjoying the outdoors, food, or live music that Austin has to offer, I am providing data analytics consulting services.

I'm currently living in Sydney, Australia, and am working at Uber on the Uber Eats side of the business in Enterprise Management. Outside of the office, I am training for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and spending my spare time working on some side projects as well as enjoying time with friends and family.
