Gabriel Jose Andrade MBA '07
After a 30-year career at Citibank, I decided to retire and do something different in my second half of the game. I founded- together with a group of bright young partners- Hybridge Education, an online school aiming to become the Spanish-speaking ultimate online school for digital technologies! We went live in April 2022 with an online high school and a college software engineering degree in Mexico, both accredited programs. We already have 1,000+ active students, and we're launching two additional college programs in these coming weeks: IA Engineering and Management for Start-Ups. Here is a picture with my wife in a recent trip to a jungle in Colombia.

Having just retired from NetApp, leading as a principal product manager of AI, I just finished cycling 3,000 miles across the U.S., which was the first item on my retirement to-do list. Next is rafting the Grand Canyon.

Eric and I recently relocated to Singapore with our two kids, Natalie and Oliver, and our dog, Indiana Jones. This is our second international move with Marriott, where I work today as the vice president of talent for APEC. We are taking full advantage of the travel opportunities here in Southeast Asia.

Hello from China, Team Fuqua! Hope everyone’s doing great! After being in the States for so long, it's so nice to be back so that I can get to spend some time with my family. I've celebrated holidays, traveled a bit, learned some new poker games… and, I FINALLY went to hear my favorite singer, Chenyu Hua, play at his music concert called Mars Concert! Still super excited hahhh.

I stay in Raleigh with my wife and two kids. I graduated from the program last month, and I work in the wireless mobility space. Switching industries is on my mind, however, for now, I am more focused on giving back time to the family. Here’s a pic from our most recent trip to a beach in N.C.

Where am I now? Located in the Berlin area; running my own tax consulting firm; having had a great life change in November - becoming a parent to a lovely baby; traveling through the world as much as possible - but loving the Baltic Sea as an all-time favorite (see picture).

After graduating from Fuqua in 2018, I spent six years at GSK in various positions in global and U.S. brand management/marketing as well as sales leadership. Still in Durham, I am now enjoying a sabbatical! I’ll be traveling to spend time with family in Brazil, as well as homeschooling my now four-year-old daughter, Luiza, for part of the summer. Here is a picture of Luiza and I in Oak Island, NC. We are looking forward to making many more wonderful memories at the beach this summer!
