Goran Bistric MBA '13
My wife and I moved to San Diego over five years ago, and since then, we have had two boys born on the same day, two years apart! I work in analytics at a large global REIT, and spend the days enjoying the beautiful weather, beach, and burritos!

Patricia Chou MBA '06
Greetings from sunny San Diego, where I live with my husband, two kids, a dog, and a cat! After marketing research stints in medical devices and restaurants, I am now with Intuit, conducting research projects like how to best communicate Intuit's free financial literacy program. I also advise on a couple of startups like Justin Ho's (MBA '06) Jigsaw Diagnostics, a telehealth autism evaluation provider.

Since graduating from Fuqua, I dressed up as Ken to go see the Barbie movie at the request of daughter and girlfriend, but spend most of my time working in Pittsburgh in private equity. Go Duke!

Since Fuqua, I have bounced from coast to coast, spending a few years in Santa Monica, CA, and now rounding out five years in Manhattan. I work remotely as the head of trade marketing strategy for a beauty company, which allows me to travel often and always with Winston by my side. This week, we will be celebrating my birthday in Napa Valley!

Barbara Johnson MBA '92
During the week, I am the chief human resources officer for McKim & Creed, but on weekends, I follow my passion and take my pugs to AKC dog shows. In fact, just this month, one of my girls earned her championship title! My life is about the search for talent - professionally and personally.

Dagny Jonsdottir MMS '16
I have been living in Reykjavík, Iceland, since graduating from Fuqua, working in business development in renewable energy. Currently I’m managing a geothermal business park (The Resource Park), but after Christmas, I’m following my partner to London, so I’m looking for career opportunities there. Recently, I finished the Berlin Marathon and managed to achieve my goal of sub four hours, which I’m quite happy about.

Kalimera from Athens, Greece! After five years in strategy and management consulting in my country, Greece, I am now running a business in hospitality and preparing to launch my second venture. In the photo below, you can see me reunited with an MMS grad who visited Athens. Kenneth Pittman MHA '86
I live in Durham with my husband, James, and we are obsessed with our first grandchild, Emmy. I am the executive director of UNC-Chapel Hill Campus Health, a 100,000-visit integrated medical and mental health practice. But my allegiance still runs the darker shade of blue! James is a clinical psychologist/administrator with Alliance Health.

It has been an exciting year. After having sold my previous company, Horsepower Technologies, I have now been appointed CEO of Aviwell, a deep tech biotech business based in Toulouse, France and Boston, USA. I also successfully completed both the Boston and London marathons in the same week last April.

We are in Wilmington, Delaware, where I currently work with Ashford Capital Management as well as other boards and investments. Kim and I try to spend as much time as we can traveling and in Montana with our family.

Allison and I are still loving Northwest Arkansas and Walmart, where we both get to work alongside Fuqua grads every day – including many of our friends from the Class of 2019 (Bonnie Kong, Matt Martinez, Sarah Arnio…not pictured but also with us from our class are Eric and Emily Souza, Say Ghosh, and Kirill Bogoslovskii) and beyond. We’ll be extra loud for everyone when the Blue Devils play at the University of Arkansas later this month!

Shivani Singh MBA '93
Hello Team Fuqua! I am currently living in Mumbai with my husband and two children. I work at Lodha Capital Markets, a mid-sized investment bank, as a partner in corporate finance, and I love to play bridge in my spare time. We also love to travel, as seen in the picture below, which was taken during a holiday trip to Srinagar and Leh in North India recently.

I currently work out of Denver, leading the marketing department of an internet service provider, helping to bridge the digital divide in Western and Middle America. The daily Rockies views offset the elevation, gusty winds, and long winters. Here's my wife and I embracing the awesome weather!
