We asked the alumni below, celebrating a birthday today, November 17, "Where are you now?" Here's what they said...

Michael Bologna MBA '00
Following Fuqua, I've been in the Raleigh area for the past 20+ years. I have been with NovaQuest Capital Management for 12 years since its founding. NQ is a PE firm in the healthcare space. I enjoy spending my free time with my better half and my kids... boating, hiking, and traveling.

I'm still in Raleigh and enjoying retirement with my husband. I have been trying new things (like weaving, painting, canning pickles, and jams) and doing more of the hobbies I love (like biking, running, traveling, sewing, camping, "beaching," and reading). Furthermore, our family has expanded; both sons are married, and I now have two grandchildren to spoil.

Ciao, Team Fuqua! My family and I are spending two years living in Northern Italy, where we are enjoying hiking, skiing, traveling Europe, and, of course, good food and excellent wine.

James Kibler MBA '09
When I am not teaching in the MBA program at the University of New Hampshire or consulting, I am spending my time flyfishing, hiking, and traveling with my wife, Kate.

Jennifer McLin MBA '97
Where am I now? I am still living along the shores of Lake Geneva in a small village just outside of Lausanne, Switzerland, the Olympic Capital of the world. I have lived here for 22 years now together with my husband, Alex McLin JD '99, an arbitrator and sports governance expert, and our two children, Liam (19 years) and Tessa (15 years). I will soon complete a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from King’s College London, which has been a nice complement to my Fuqua MBA degree. When I am not busy studying, usually I can be found running along the lake, playing tennis (a new hobby), skiing, or hiking in the Swiss and French Alps. As a family, we still love traveling the world together. Earlier this year, we went sailing in the British Virgin Islands and then spent a week on St. Barts. Most recently, we spent a week exploring the island of Mallorca, Spain. So, I can’t complain. Life is good, and we are grateful for all that we have been able to see and do with our lives.

I have been with HSBC for the better part of two decades now, after spending seven years in Asia in Seoul and then Hong Kong, both terrific experiences. We have been back home in London since early this year. This brings us closer to our sons, who are both Duke alums as well (Kabir '17 and Trilok '19), and both living in NYC.

Hi friends, I am back in Durham (again) for the past 17 years living with my wife, Rina Shah MBA '10, and two children (ages 8 and 5). I am one of the co-founders and COO of Homeward, a company that is building hybrid primary care practices for rural communities.

Hello Fuqua family! I graduated this past May and moved to New York City, where I started working at Morgan Stanley for Wealth Management Field Analytics. I’m always exploring the amazing restaurants, speakeasies, food festivals, and all the fun activities that NYC has to offer. Over long weekends, I visit my Fuqua friends in other cities.
